Today is starting the "Havana Big Game Fishing Tournament Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba".
With the celebration of the Captain´s Meeting, at the headquarters of
the Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba, today begins the Big
Game Fishing Tournament, organized by the Fishing Committee of the
Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba, with the participation of
the vessels: Blue Sky , The Lucky One, La Lágrima, Yellow Tail,
Unclaimed, Los Isleños and Retriever, all owned by members of this Cuban nautical institution.
There will be two fishing days, Saturday 22nd , from 09:00 to 16:00,
and Sunday 23rd, from 09:00 to 14:00. The event concludes with the award
ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
During the fishing days will be
scored the species: Swordfish (400 points), Blue Marlin (300 points),
White Marlin (200 points), Dorado (20 points to those over 70 cm), Wahoo
(30 points to those over 70 cm) and Tuna (10 points to those greater
than 50 cm)
This recreational fishing event is part of the Annual
Tournament 27th Anniversary of the Hemingway International Yacht Club
of Cuba. For one year, the members of this Cuban nautical institution
accumulate points and on May 21st , the date of the founding of the
Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba, or at a nearby date, the
winners of this annual tournament are awarded.

Comienza hoy Torneo "Habana Big Game Fishing Club Náutico Internacional Hemingway de Cuba".
Con la celebración del Encuentro de Capitanes, en la sede del Club
Náutico Internacional
Hemingway de Cuba, comienza hoy el Torneo Habana
Big Game Fishing, organizado por el Comité de Pesca del Club Náutico
Internacional Hemingway de Cuba, con la participación de las
embarcaciones Blue Sky, The Lucky One, La Lágrima, Yellow Tail,
Unclaimed, Los Isleños y Retriever, todas propiedad de miembros de esta
institución náutica cubana.
Se realizarán dos jornadas de pesca,
sábado 22, desde las 09:00 hasta las 16:00 horas, y domingo 23, desde
las 09:00 hasta las 14:00 horas. El evento concluye con la ceremonia de
premiación a las 19:00 horas del domingo.
Durante las jornadas de
pesca se puntuarán las especies Swordfish (400 puntos), Blue Marlin

Este evento de la pesca recreativa forma
parte del Torneo Anual 27 Aniversario del Club Náutico Internacional
Hemingway de Cuba. Durante un año, los miembros de esta institución
náutica cubana acumulan puntos y el 21 de mayo, fecha de fundación del
Club Náutico Internacional Hemingway de Cuba, o en una fecha cercana se
realiza la premiación de los ganadores de este torneo anual.
El
Torneo Habana Big Game Fishing es una evento interno del Club Nautico
Internacional Hemingway de Cuba y en el mismo solo participan miembros
de esta institución náutica cubana.
